The company maintains a database of vessels requiring subsequent employment (information includes the size of the vessel, port, and date of completion of the previous voyage), which is updated in real-time and similarly a database of cargoes to be shipped starting from prompt dates and up to 2-3 weeks forward. We concentrate on 35,000-60,000 mt cargo parcel size, and relevant types of bulk carriers called handysize, supramax, and ultramax.

Using professional skills and expertise, we determine one most suitable vessel for particular cargo or vice versa out of dozens circulated on the market. We connect both parties and lead commercial negotiations on their behalf, help to agree on freight rate and terms of shipment, adjust proforma charter party in line with the concluded agreement, and issue the final draft for signing. The company also follows the performance of contracts daily to solve amicably (or preferably prevent) disputes between owners and charterers and to relieve them from most routine standard procedures, e.g., laytime calculation.

We constantly monitor developments in physical freight and forward freight agreements (FFA) markets to advise our clients about the proper time and "fair" rate to charter their vessel or cargo. On request, we calculate estimated freight rates helping charterers in their capacity of commodity traders to plan logistic expenses when negotiating a sale contract.

Main cargo types and routes are:

coal from Indonesia, South Africa, Australia to China, India, and Taiwan

grains from the Black Sea and US Gulf to Bangladesh, South East Asia countries, and China.
